Challenge MS

The home of corporate challenge fundraising for the MS Society. Help us raise £50,000 to support the MS Community and our MS Nurses.

Are you up for the challenge?

£500 could pay for a specialist doctor to examine a donated brain before it’s used in research.

£5,000 could pay for stem cells that can be grown in the laboratory. These can be turned into immune cells.  Researchers can use these cells to understand more about the nerve fibre loss seen in MS.

£50,000 could pay for an MS Nurse to help thousands of people with MS via our MS Help Hub

What is MS?

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that affects nerves in your central nervous system. That's your brain and spinal cord. In MS, the coating (called myelin) that protects your nerves is damaged. MS causes a range of symptoms like blurred vision and problems with how we move, think and feel. We don't yet know what causes MS, but thanks to research funded by you, we're discovering new ways to slow, stop and even prevent MS.

Who are we?

We're the UK’s largest charity dedicated to supporting everyone affected by multiple sclerosis (MS). We provide local and national services, fund and promote research and advocate for the MS community. Local groups are established across the country helping provide support and community where people live. We provide trusted information and personalised support so everyone can manage and understand MS, live well and stay connected. We fund world-leading research and together with our community, advocate for everyone's rights.

MS Specialist Nurses

These experts in MS play a vital role in helping people with MS manage a range of complicated and unpredictable symptoms. 7,000 people are diagnosed with MS in the UK each year, and 150,000 people live with the condition. Despite this, there are only around 300 (FTE) MS Specialist Nurses working in the UK today. Our MS Nursing service links thousands of people to free, essential specialist care, via MS Help.
