Are there limits on what we can do?
No, it’s entirely up to you. Make sure you choose an activity or event that everyone on your team is comfortable with an achievable minimum target.
What is employee matching, and how does it work?
Thousands of employers will match what their employees raise for charity. If your’s is one of them you could add to your total! Everyone will be slightly different so it’s best to speak to your HR team to find out it could work for you.
Who organises the events?
Events are organised by different 3rd party providers, or the MS Society, or you (if you’re feeling creative). Each event will have its own Terms and Conditions so be sure to make sure you understand them before signing up.
What fees are involved?
Different events have different fundraising targets, and charge different fees. As a rule of thumb, the more adventurous an activity is, the higher the fee as more costs will need covering. This may mean that fundraising potential will be higher however.
What about insurance?
Personal insurance isn’t always provided, and you may wish to take out your own, particularly for adrenaline challenges. Please check the conditions of your challenge to find out more.
How much do we need to raise?
We don’t set you a target and are truly grateful for every penny you raise. Some challenges may set a minimum target for entry. This makes sure their event raises the most money possible, but will also help cover some of their costs.
